About StrongDM
StrongDM provides privileged access management for modern infrastructure. It sells to developers, database administrators, DevOps teams, and security teams. The platform controls access to databases, servers, Kubernetes clusters, cloud services, and web applications. It combines authentication, authorization, networking, and observability into one system. Access is granted just in time and removed automatically when the task ends. Credentials are never shown to the user, machine, or agent. A protocol-aware proxy sits in the connection path and brokers credentials on their behalf. Policy is evaluated throughout each session, not only at login. This means a session that starts clean can be cut off if conditions change. StrongDM is part of Delinea's identity security control plane. It extends existing vaults like Delinea Secret Server rather than replacing them. The architecture is agentless, so nothing is installed on target resources. It supports databases, containers, cloud platforms, AI agents, servers, and web apps. Deployment takes hours, not months, with no rip-and-replace.
