About Aqua Security

Aqua Security offers Trivy, an open source security scanner. Trivy finds vulnerabilities (CVEs) and misconfigurations (IaC) in code repositories, binary artifacts, container images, and Kubernetes clusters. It is released under the Apache-2.0 license and a new version comes out every month. The tool is used by professionals and organisations such as GitLab, Alpine Security, Harbor, Mirantis, MasterCard, Deutsche Bahn, Wise, and CloudNativePG. Aqua Security also runs the Trivy Partner Connect Community for users to share feedback and stories. Trivy is noted for its ease of use, permissive license, and ability to generate SBOMs, scan for secrets, and check licenses.
