About Teleport
Teleport sells an infrastructure identity platform that unifies identities for humans, machines and AI. It replaces shared secrets, standing privileges and anonymity with cryptographic identity. The platform is aimed at companies running critical infrastructure, including large enterprises and startups. It is used by teams in sectors such as stock exchanges and cloud services. The platform works by giving every actor a hardware-backed identity and just-in-time privileges that expire. This reduces exposed attack surface and removes the need for vaults, bastion hosts and VPNs. Teleport also provides identity security that traces activity across Okta, AWS, GitHub and other systems to detect hidden risks. It offers privileged access management without vaults, using short-lived certificates and access requests through tools like Slack and Jira. The company says its platform helps with compliance and audit readiness.
