About Splunk
Splunk sells a data platform for security, observability and AI. It unifies machine data at petabyte scale, wherever that data lives, so teams can search and analyse it without moving it. The company also offers Splunk Cloud Platform and Splunk Enterprise for investigating, monitoring and acting on data. Splunk is now a Cisco company. Its security products cover threat detection, investigation and response. Splunk Enterprise Security brings together SIEM, SOAR, UEBA and agentic AI in one SecOps platform. Other tools include Attack Analyzer, SOAR, Threat Intelligence and Detection Studio. Splunk also helps customers meet compliance rules through automated data collection, risk assessment and audit reporting. Splunk serves security operations, IT operations, DevOps and compliance teams. It provides training and certification, and runs an academic alliance for colleges and universities. The company publishes security advisories for its products.
