About DomainTools
DomainTools provides DNS-focused threat intelligence and domain security data. It maps the Internet to help organisations detect, analyse and mitigate malicious domains. The company sells to enterprises, governments and security platform providers. Its data covers over 97% of the Internet and includes more than two decades of DNS intelligence. DomainTools claims its data detects significantly more malicious domains each month than other solutions and identifies them about ten days earlier than standard blocklists. The platform works by collecting and contextualising DNS, Whois and certificate data. Analysts can see a domain's risk score, hosting history and connected infrastructure. This supports threat hunting, incident response, fraud prevention, law enforcement and brand protection. DomainTools integrates with many security tools such as SIEM, SOAR, TIP and E/XDR platforms. It offers both a user interface and an API for enrichment at scale.
