About SRC Security Research & Consulting
SRC Security Research & Consulting is a German IT security firm founded in 2000. It began as a competence centre for IT security in banking and now advises clients on secure systems and new technologies. The company supports customers throughout a project, from initial concept to final quality assurance and approval. It also runs a hardware laboratory for Common Criteria assessments. SRC sells consulting, evaluation and testing services rather than products. Its clients are mainly banks, payment providers, healthcare organisations and manufacturers of payment and security components. The firm is a PCI Security Standards Council accredited testing laboratory and a BSI-recognised testing body. It performs evaluations for PCI PTS and accelerated security certification, and offers pre-evaluation consulting. Tests can be arranged so that results serve several certification schemes at once, which saves time and cost for clients.
