About Shift5
Shift5 provides an Operational Intelligence platform for defence and transportation fleets. It sells to military customers and commercial transportation companies, covering aviation, ground vehicles, maritime and rail. The platform gathers data from onboard systems, then analyses it to find cyber threats and maintenance problems. It works from the edge up to the operations centre. The company was founded in 2019 by former military officers who set up U.S. Army Cyber Command and worked on weapons system cyber assessments. It has over 100 full-time employees and has raised $185M in venture capital. Its technology is passive and one-way, so it does not interfere with platform operations. It is platform agnostic and integrates with third-party tools. Shift5 also offers predictive maintenance, fleet compliance and research services.
