About Paubox
Paubox sells HIPAA compliant email and related tools to healthcare organisations in the United States. Its main product is encrypted email that works with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Exchange. Mail is encrypted by default, so recipients do not need a portal, login or passcode. If a recipient's server cannot handle modern TLS, Paubox sends a secure link instead. The company also offers AI powered inbound email security. The system analyses tone, sender behaviour and message intent, explains in plain language why an email was flagged, and keeps learning normal behaviour to spot new attack patterns. Paubox says it stops phishing, ransomware and social engineering that rule based filters miss. Other products cover data loss prevention, email archiving and forms for collecting patient data. Paubox states that more than 9,000 healthcare organisations use it, and that it stops a million attacks each month.
