About Island

Island sells an enterprise browser that puts security, access and AI productivity directly into the browser. It is aimed at large organisations and their IT and security teams. The browser installs locally on managed or unmanaged devices and is managed from a cloud console, so no extra infrastructure is needed. It is built on the Chromium engine, so web and SaaS apps that work in Chrome or Edge also work here. The company also offers Enterprise AI, which makes the AI tools staff already use ready for enterprise use, and Enterprise Network, described as SASE reimagined with a Perfect Packet architecture. Island Private Access provides zero trust access to private web apps and SaaS without agents, portals or VPNs. The browser applies last-mile controls over data movement, copy and paste, downloads and screenshots, and it can replace or reduce VDI.
