FaceTec provides 3D liveness, 3D face matching, UR Codes, OCR and NFC software for identity verification. It sells to organisations that need to confirm users are physically present and match them to an ID photo or stored 3D FaceMap. The software works on smart devices and webcams. During onboarding, a video-selfie verifies liveness, creates a 3D FaceMap, matches it to the ID photo, reads ID text and checks for tampering. On return, a new video-selfie confirms liveness and the new 3D FaceMap is compared to the old one. FaceTec says its anti-spoofing AI is certified by a NIST/NVLAP lab and tested through a spoof bounty programme. It also offers UR Codes for privacy-preserving identity verification.
