About ExtraHop
ExtraHop sells network detection and response software. Its main platform, RevealX, combines NDR, network performance monitoring, intrusion detection and packet forensics in one place. The company says this lets security and network teams work from a single source of truth instead of stitching together separate tools. It also offers an all-in-one sensor and a 400 Gbps sensor for large data centres. The platform reads traffic that is encrypted, covering more than 90 network and application protocols, and analyses packets at high speed across cloud, on-premises and hybrid networks. Machine learning models, trained on large volumes of transactions, baseline normal behaviour and flag anomalies. ExtraHop says this helps teams find lateral movement, ransomware campaigns and attackers who hide in everyday tools. It sells to enterprises with complex networks, including security operations centres and network operations centres. Customers named in the text include The Home Depot, Seattle Children's Hospital and Viasat. RevealX can be self-hosted or delivered as SaaS, and works in public networks or air-gapped environments.
