About Emproof
Emproof provides software protection for embedded systems. Its main product, Emproof Nyx, guards against reverse engineering, tampering and hacking. It works directly on binary files, so no source code or hardware changes are needed. This suits third-party, legacy or already-deployed systems. The company says its memory footprint is up to 100 times smaller than other options, which helps in devices with limited resources. Emproof sells to manufacturers and software providers in sectors such as automotive, medical, aviation, industrial IoT and semiconductors. Its technology is used on Arm Cortex-M, RISC-V and x86 platforms, among others. The company states that its binary transformation preserves the original software behaviour and that it follows ISO 26262 functional safety standards. It also says its solution helps customers meet rules like the EU Cyber Resilience Act and the U.S. Cyber Trust Mark.
