About Authentik Security
Authentik Security provides a self-hosted, open source identity provider called authentik. It sells an open source version for homelab users and simple use cases, and paid Enterprise and Enterprise Plus subscriptions for organisations that need more features and support. The product handles authentication and authorisation for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer scenarios. The company emphasises that customers run authentik themselves, so they do not rely on a third-party service or expose sensitive data to the public internet. Deployment can be automated with templates and tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform and Docker Compose, and every step of authentication can be customised through policies and APIs.
